The Annual Christian Women Writers’ Beach Retreat includes:
Focused Writing Time – You asked for a slower pace and more writing time, this year we’ve got it!
Strategy – I can’t help myself. There will always be a strategy component and this year we’re focused on Navigating Your Life Content to write faster and easier no matter what genre you are writing!
A Retreat Swag Bag – Just as I do for my monthly Retreat Boxes, I’ll curate a special bag of goodies just for you! And of course, we will include a conversation starter and teach you how to strike the conversation to start prompting your book.
Writing prompts – We will get your writing juices flowing with prompts and teasers to break your writer’s block anytime, anywhere.
Inspiration – We’re at the beach! Inspiration abounds. We will provide opportunities for special sunrise and sunset adventures.
And every retreat starts with a devotion written for writers by me … a writer. After all … God called you to write. I’m just helping you cozy up to the idea.
What’s in it for me if I attend?
Retreat activities will be held August 3-4, 2024, in the Pioneer Beach Resort Activity Center, Port Aransas, Texas. The program fee includes activities and instruction. It does not include meals, lodging, or transportation. We’ve found this allows for more flexibility for participants and can accommodate more individuals. Participants must book their own lodging. There are a limited number of cabins on the property within a five-minute walk to the beach. Book early to stay on the property; they go quickly!
This retreat will provide a time for relaxation, writing, and strategizing over your book with me a 10X author (and counting) and an author business coach.

Meet Brenda A. Haire
I’m a 10X published author (and counting) and the co-founder of Joy of Pursuit, where I teach the nuts and bolts of writing, publishing, marketing, and building your author business through our Author Business Network. I’m the creator of A Worthy Writer’s Retreat Box©, which provides inspiration and faith for women called to write their stories delivered straight to their door monthly.

The Annual Christian Women Writers’ Beach Retreat is August 3-4, 2024. This general admission ticket does not include meals, lodging, or transportation. Created by a Christian woman writer, for women called to write this retreat is perfect to help you answer the call to write.
$325.00 General Admission
A payment plan allows you to pay for a retreat in 3 installments: a deposit and two payments of $125.00 each due (March and June). Hold deposit for general admission is $75.00 non-refundable. Transferable up to 30 days before the event.

If you sign up after the 1st of the month, then your invoice will be sent immediately for the same due dates. If you purchase after those due dates, your invoice will be due upon receipt.
